Dr. Scott Simon

Dr. Scott Simon is a highly experienced and compassionate veterinarian with over 40 years in small animal medicine and surgery. After owning and operating the Animal Hospital of Chelsea in New York City for more than three decades, where he led a dedicated team and established trusted medical and surgical protocols, Dr. Simon transitioned into supporting other hospitals on a per diem basis, where he splits his time between the East and West coast, supporting East Hampton's pets in the Spring through Fall months. Dr Simon will be seeing East Hampton Patients through mid-December.

Known for his energy, professionalism, and patient-first approach, Dr. Simon is committed to delivering the highest quality of care and serving as a strong advocate for his patients. He continues to bring a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and hands-on expertise to every hospital team he supports.

Dr. Simon earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981, after completing his Bachelor of Science there in 1976. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys gardening and staying active on the pickleball court.
