Meet Dr. Nora Kleps
DVMA New York native, Dr. Kleps was raised in Long Island, and now happily resides in East Hampton. She earned her degree in veterinary medicine from New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1992. Licensed in New York and Arizona, Dr. Kleps has practiced high-quality, dependable veterinary medicine for the past 25 years. In addition to being an Associate Veterinarian at , Dr. Kleps owns a mobile veterinary practice performing small animal, mixed animal, and equine house calls. Dedicated to providing outstanding patient care and client service, Dr. Kleps is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and American Association of Equine Practitioners. In addition, she is fluent in English, French, and Italian, with working knowledge in Spanish and Farsi. Her areas of professional interest include dermatology and equine medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Kleps compassionately volunteers on high-volume spay/neuter missions at the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, and Navajo Reservations in Arizona and New Mexico. Dr. Kleps enjoys opera, reading Scandinavian crime novels, and indulging in spicy cuisines. At home, Dr. Kleps has a menagerie of forever friends including three dogs, thirteen cats, three chickens, an Appaloosa horse, and a mule. Fun fact: Her mule plays hide and seek!
